An Ethical Question
Physician's views about treating Low Back Pain as reported by Cherkin (Cherkin, et.al., "Physicians Views about Treating Low Back Pain, Spine, Vol. 30, No. 1, pp 1-10) NO big surprise to a D.C. (Doctor of Chiropractic) 82% of Medical Doctors suggest managing Acute Low Back Pain with measures AHCPR threw out as useless or harmful. Stunning finding, 36% of M.D.s surveyed agree spinal manipulation would be helpful in treating low back pain, however only 2% said they would refer their patients to a Chiropractor. So much for ethical considerations!! Chiropractic works! Spread the word!! | ||||||
